Driving Directions:
From the Norman Manley International Airport:
Take Palisadoes Road to the Harbour view round-about, keep left, follow road to Glasspole Highway. Continue to Kingston Ice Factory and make right onto South Camp Road. Take South Camp Road to Camp Road, continue to intersection at Tom Redcam Avenue (take right). Continue on Tom Redcam to Oxford Road (continue across second stoplight). Take Oxford Road to Knutsford Boulevard then make the right on Knutsford Boulevard (Emancipation Park is directly on front) and continue to the hotel wicht is located on right hand side (#85).

Just 590 miles south of Miami, lies the island of Jamaica. Renowned as a tropical paradise of white sand beaches and clear, cool Caribbean Sea water and majestic mountain, it is also famous for its vibrant people and their culture. The Courtleigh Hotel & Suites is centrally located in the nation's capital, Kingston, the heartbeat of Jamaica.




Situated in New Kingston, the cities premiere financial district, the hotel is twenty-five minutes away from the Norman Manley International Airport. Within a five minutes walk are some of Jamaica’s largest financial and commercial institutions. In the same locale, mingling with the corporate entities, are Kingston’s hottest nightclubs featuring Jamaica’s reggae and dancehall music, restaurants, theatres and cinemas. Historical and cultural museums are also nearby.

 


The hotel is well positioned as a convenient starting point for trips to popular tourist destinations near the capital. A half hour drive will take you to the old city of Port Royal, where pirates and buccaneers lived in what was once known as the "wickedest city on earth". From there you might want to hop over to Lime Cay for a sunbath on the pristine white sand beaches of this tiny isle. But if the beach isn't your thing then look north to the Blue Mountains. Take a hiking trip to the 7,402ft Blue Mountain peak or visit a Coffee Factory on the mountainside.

Being in the heart of the up - scale commercial and shopping district of New Kingston on the hip strip - Knutsford Boulevard you are where the action is. Within walking distance you will find the New Kingston Shopping Plaza, Citibank, First Caribbean Bank, IBM, World Bank, British High Commission and other International Corporations, Embassies and High Commissions. Located adjacent to Emancipation Park with jogging trails, Putt - N - Play for miniature golf. Site seeing at Bob Marley Museum, Devon House or the Caribbean Sculpture Park are all within a 10-minute drive. The famous Blue Mountains are a 45- minute excursion where you can enjoy the famous Blue Mountain Coffee on a plantation tour. White sand beach access is a 25-minute ride coupled with a short boat trip to the popular Lime Cay. Horseracing is a mere 30 minutes away at Caymanas Park, Cricket at the famous Sabina Park a 15-minute drive. The National Stadium for Track and Field, Football, Swimming and Netball just 10 minutes.


A Cultural Mecca:

The University of the West Indies and The University of Technology are 15 minutes away. Downtown Kingston: the old city; is a 20-minute drive away where you will find other International offices and the seat of Government in Gordon House. The old pirate’s hideaway of Port Royal is just 35 minutes away while the north coast town of Ocho Rios and Port Antonio are 1 1/2 hours away to the north and east respectively. Norman Manley International Airport is located 14 miles south of the hotel.
